Lautaro Martinez had put the Albiceleste ahead minutes before with his second consecutive goal with the national team, but the 28-year-old netted an equaliser that he will definitely remember for a long time.
The Torino’s striker met a Gustavo Velazquez looping cross from the right with a stunning overhead kick, sending the ball past Emiliano Martinez into the bottom corner to inflict Argentina their third defeat of their World Cup qualifying campaign.
