Santiago Gimenez’s Mexico won the CONCACAF Nations League on Sunday, but the Milan star was limping away after celebrations.
Mexico secured a historic milestone on Sunday by beating Panama 2-1 in the CONCACAF Nations League Final. Milan striker Gimenez practically played for the entire game as he was subbed off only at minute 90.
A video published by Aztecadeportes showed the Milan star limping away from the pitch after celebrations, but according to Milannews, it is still unclear whether he suffered an injury or was only exhausted after the match.
Gimenez has scored two goals in seven Serie A appearances after joining the Rossoneri in the winter transfer window.
