Federico Chiesa is getting in shape for Liverpool’s first-team return, as he scored a goal for the Reds’ U21 squad against FC Nordsjælland on Wednesday.
Italy international Chiesa scored a goal for Liverpool in a Premier League International Cup on Wednesday against FC Nordsjælland.
Chiesa scores for Liverpool U21 as first-team return nears
The former Juventus and Fiorentina winger started the game and found the net at minute 11. He was subbed off in the second half after the hour mark.
Chiesa has had one assist in three Liverpool appearances this term, and Arne Slot recently said the 27-year-old would soon return to action with the first team.
