Edoardo Bove was out of hospital on Friday evening, and reported to Fiorentina’s training ground to greet his teammates and coaches the morning after he was discharged.
Fiorentina published videos and images from Bove’s first day back at Viola Park on Saturday.
Though he is unable to play in Serie A with an internal defibrillator fitted, he kitted up in the club’s training kit and was made to feel part of the first team group again.
There was a special moment as the 22-year-old was greeted by an enthusiastic round of applause when he walked into the team meeting.

The former Roma midfielder had surgery just three days ago to have a removable, internal defibrillator fitted (ICD) fitted, which was a necessary part of the protocol that led to his being discharged later on Friday.
