Yesterday Monday Commission against Violence in sporting events he made a decision of enormous importance. Decision as a consequence of what happened last Sunday in the Madrid derby in the Metropolitan Stadium. The Commission has determined to modify the action protocol to restore normality in competitions, tests or sporting events, and strengthen communication between the referee and the clubs’ security coordinator. This modification involves establishing the presence of a member of the Security Forces on the field.
With this measure, and after what was seen when the throwing of objects began at the beginning of the second half from the South End of the red-and-white stadium, the Commission intends to achieve greater efficiency. In this way, the representative of the Security Forces and Corps will be located on the field in an area close to the benches.

Protocol that will include measures aimed at restoring normality, proportionate to the circumstances of each case, with the aim of achieving the termination of the meeting in conditions that guarantee security and public order.
