Pep Guardiola’s future at Manchester City was unclear for a long time, but now the club has certainty: the successful Spanish coach has extended his contract, which expires in 2025, until 2027. The 53-year-old will be entering his tenth season with the Citizens next season and can set his sights on further records.

Guardiola joined Manchester City in July 2016 and has since become the most successful coach in the club’s history.
