Karlsruher SC is trying to compensate for the departure of top scorer Budu Zivzivadze (30) with an old acquaintance. As “Sky” reports, the second-placed team in the 2nd Bundesliga has agreed in principle with 1. FC Heidenheim on a transfer for Mikkel Kaufmann. There is a loan from the Dane in the room. Finalization of the deal now only depends on the commitment of the 24-year-old, who has not yet decided what to do next.
One went, the other should return: The FCH had recently signed the currently best second division shooter Zivzivadze from KSC and thus opened a gap in the Baden offensive. Kaufmann had already moved to Karlsruhe on loan from his parent club FC Copenhagen in the summer of 2022 and managed 19 goals in 32 competitive games.
