Anthony Edwards’ career-best 53 points went down the drain in the Timberwolves’ 119-105 loss in Detroit. The guard became the first franchise player to score more than half of his team’s points in a gamebut not even that was enough to win. His anger after the game was enormous. He refused to speak to the press.

Edwards made 16/31 field goals, including a fantastic 10 triples (also a personal record) in just 15 attempts.. He also added 11/12 in free throws. Thus he surpassed his previous individual mark of 51, becoming the second player after Karl-Anthony Towns to surpass the 50 barrier in more than one game.
Edwards’ defeated performance once again shows the bad vibes that exist in the Wolves, a team that last season became a finalist in the Western Conference and that now has a balance of 17-17 after losing three consecutive games. The franchise was broken when in the summer they decided transfer Towns, who is leaving the Knicks, for a Julius Randle which usually has empty performances despite its large numbers. TO Mike Conleythe soul of the squad, has been weighing down his years for some time now. It’s going for 37.

The opposite happens to the Pistons than to their rival. They have gone from hell last yearin which they became one of the worst teams in history to be in play-in positions with 17-18.
