In the market value update in Uruguay’s league in Apertura, the focus is on young, aspiring players. The biggest winner is the 20-year-old Agustín Soria from the defensor SC, for whom it goes up around 750,000 euros to 1.2 million euros. The central midfielder is one of the top performers at the currently runner -up and has so far only been missing in the Apertura due to a red lock. With a goal and two templates from two games, he started the season.
Behind Soria also recorded midfielder Hugo Quintana (23) from Liverpool FC Montevideo as well as the two Nacional wing strikers Jeremía Recoba (21) and Bruno Arady (17) significant growth of 550,000 euros or 500,000 euros from the latter. Arady is his starting value after he had made his debut in the league.
The biggest loser can be found in the ranks of Peñarol. David Terans, previously the third value of the league, lost half of his market value and is now located at EUR 1.5 million. In January, the 30-year-old was awarded to his ex-club from Fluminense from the stronger Brazilian Série A to his home country, which is why his evaluation is adapted downwards. The highest estimated player in the Uruguayan Oberhaus is Terans’ teammate Leonardo Fernández (26) with unchanged 7.5 million euros.
