10 devaluations at Hertha

In the update of the 2nd Bundesliga, the market values of the top talents particularly increase and ensure that the total value of the league makes a jump from 514 million to 574 million euros. The biggest plus receives Stefanos Tzimas from 1. FC Nürnberg, which increases from EUR 10 million to EUR 22 million.
“Tzimas is a top talent and decided early on to move to England early on. Brighton pays almost 25 million for the young Greek, but leaves him in Nuremberg until the end of the season. The transfer market is clearly approaching,” explains market value expert Tobias Kröger the historical upgrading.
Because in his next use for the FCN, Tzimas Jonas Hector replaces the most valuable player in the history of league. The former Cologne team was worth 15 million euros in the 2018/19 season when he ran in the lower house, now the storm talent will soon be enthroned. In the history of the market values recorded since 2004, there have often been second division professionals with higher taxations such as Benjamin Pavard, but after the respective descents of their clubs, they went to other clubs in the summer transfer window and remained without use.
At 1. FC Nürnberg, the market values of Jens Castrop and Caspar Jander are also increasing by millions. Castrop, who is moving to the Bundesliga in Borussia Mönchengladbach next summer, doubles its market value to 6 million euros. His midfield partner at the club and in the U21 national team Jander receives a plus of 2.5 million and is now worth 5 million euros. A total of eight players are upgraded from the FCN, five devaluing faces. The largest gets captain Robin Knoche, who is downgraded by 400,000 to 800,000 euros due to age. As a result, the squad value increases by 18.6 million to EUR 53.1 million. The club thus occupies second place in the league comparison. The last time the Nuremberg squad was rated higher in the Bundesliga in 2019.
Large upgrades at the HSV talent and Selke increase
Since Steffen Baumgart’s change of coaching to Merlin Polzin, Hamburger SV has been having a wave of success and only lost once in 13 games. After 26 match days, the red pants are in first place and thus as late as never before in their second division history at the top of the table. This is rewarded with nine upgrades and only two deviations. Adam Karabec (21) receives the greatest increase, for whom it goes by 2 million to 5 million euros. The loan player, for whom the Hamburgers have a purchase option including bonuses at the market value level, is the most valuable professional of red pants. The Czechs get nine scorer points in 24 games in this second division season.
The three HSV talents Otto Stange (18), Alexander Røssing-Lelesiit (18) and Aboubaka SOUMAHORO (20) also receive upgrades in the millions. Eigenwäche rod regularly comes to short missions in the first team and met twice, its market value increases from 400,000 to EUR 2 million. The latter two were signed as a perspective player in winter and are now upgraded due to their replacement. Røssing-Lelesiit cost EUR 2.8 million and receives an increase of EUR 1.3 million to EUR 2 million, Soumhoro came for 2 million euros and increases the same amount to EUR 1.8 million.
Hamburg’s most accurate striker Davie Selke, who leads the 2nd Bundesliga goal scorer lists with 17 booths. For the 30-year-old, it is about a million to 3 million euros. He is the only player in this update who is older than 26 and books a million plus. “Selke has been running at the HSV for the first time in years without a long injury and can therefore fully exploit his scorer qualities. With his hit quota, he has replaced Robert Glatzel equally and has even risen to the best striker in the league. That is why Selkes is adapted to Glatzels. There was also first division interest in winter,” explains market value expert Marcel Fritze.
Schalke and FCM move up – Bulut and Sylla with big jumps
FC Schalke 04 has the most part of the planning security eight game days before the end, ten points are the lead over the relegation rank and 13 points are on the third -placed SC Paderborn. It is a disappointing season for the shortcomings that had proclaimed the upper third as the goal before the season. Nevertheless, seven professionals receive an upgrade, including Moussa Sylla (25) and Taylan Bulut (19), which increase by EUR 3 million to 6 million and 5 million euros. “Bulut has taken the next step and is associated with a change to the Bundesliga, while striker Sylla has attracted the interest of various clubs. Both are candidates for a change of millions in summer,” explains Kröger.
The biggest surprise of the season so far is the 1st FC Magdeburg, which after two years of relegation battle in the race for the promotion. After 26 games there are 42 points and five -place place five – already a record for the Elbstädter. Martijn Kaars and Livan Burcu both rise from 1.2 million to EUR 4 million and are now the most valuable Magdeburgers. The club never had more valuable players before.
Market value expert Fritze explains the historical revaluation: “Kaars and Burcu are the two outstanding strikers at the FCM this season. With their running and sprint strength, they have already taken some defense series apart and play an important role within the second best offensive of the league. Kaars has increased in the past few months with an impressive hit rate for the currently second-class secondary striker and is likely to be with his overall package Speed, technology and final strength have aroused the interest of many clubs.
Deviction at Hanover and Hertha – Reese loses the most
Hertha BSC has a disappointing season and has to fight for relegation in the past few weeks, although one wanted to look up with the second most valuable squad at the beginning of the season. Ten professionals from the old lady receive a devaluation, only Derry Scherhann increases by 500,000 to 2 million euros. In total, the squad value drops by 4.3 million to EUR 49.1 million and is only the fourth most valuable in the league – no other team receives a larger minus. Fabian Reese and Pascal Klemens each lose one million and are rated after the update with 4 million and 3 million euros. Fritze says about the devaluation of the wing player: “At Reese, the hype has gone, which gave him a market value of 5 million euros last year. His outstanding services did not lead to an increased market interest and corresponding offers. His previous value is no longer justified.”
The squad value of Hannover 96, which is only three points behind to third place. Both Rabbi Matondo, who switched from Glasgow from the Rangers to Maschsee in winter, and Bartlomiej Wdowik are devalued by a million. The Englishman Matondo met in his debut against Hamburger SV, but has not come beyond short missions since then and is now evaluated with 2 million euros – Wdowik with EUR 1.5 million. The Cologne Jusuf Gazibegovic, who is now located at 4 million euros, and Jan Thielmann, whose value falls to EUR 3 million, receive further devaluations in the millions.
