The return to Tyrell Malacia’s Eredivisia is perfect. The 25 -year -old left -back is loaned to PSV Eindhoven by Manchester United until the end of the season, afterwards the Dutch champion has a purchase option. According to information from Transfer Reporter Fabrizio Romano, this is 10 million and is therefore 5 million euros below its market value. There should also be a 30 percent resolution.
Malacia switched from Feyenoord Rotterdam to Manchester United in 2022 for 15 million euros. In his first season he played 39 games for the Red Devils, but suffered a serious knee injury in July 2023 and only celebrated his comeback in November 2024. In total, he missed 70 games during this period. Since his return he has been on the pitch for 391 minutes in nine missions.
“I am happy to be here. Finally play football again. I come from a long injury, but I am now fit and know that my time will come back, ”Malacia said in the club announcement. He knows the Dutch league from his time at Feyenoord, where he completed 98 games between 2017 and 2022 and was involved in twelve goals. After Antony and Donny van de Beek, he is the third ex-Eedivisie professional who (temporarily) leaves Manchester United this season. Malacia is one of the players who won ex-United trainers Erik Ten Hag.
