LaLiga issued a statement after Barcelona’s request to the Royal Spanish Football Federation to give new licenses to Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. In it, it does not value said request, but it does make it clear that The Barcelona club did not present any alternative so that players could register, so the two footballers are unregistered from LaLiga as of January 1.
“LaLiga informs that as of today, December 31, FC Barcelona has not presented any alternative that, in compliance with LaLiga’s economic control regulations, allows you to register any player starting next January 2“he says in the statement.

Barcelona has presented documentation on the agreements it has reached with Arab investors for the sale of the Camp Nou VIP boxesbut it is not enough for players to register. In the coming days it is expected that the Barça club will be able to present them.
However, as long as this is so, LaLiga considers that it cannot allow Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor to register. For this reason, Barcelona has asked the Federation to give new licenses to its two players.
