Defense reinforcement wanted

In search of reinforcements for the defensive, TSG Hoffenheim apparently also checks a return from Stefan Posch. The 27-year-old was active in various teams for the Kraichgauer from 2015 to 2022 before he was first awarded to FC Bologna, who then used the purchase option in the summer of 2023 and committed the Austrian for 5 million euros.
While Posch was part of the regular staff in his first two seasons, his missions have decreased significantly since the end of October. Since then, the right -back has only completed 157 minutes over seven games. That’s why he could strive for a farewell this winter. According to the “kicker”, the TSG checks a possible return action. The report does not show whether this is a loan or a permanent change. In Bologna, Posch still has a contract until 2026.
In addition to Posch, left-back Luke Thomas (for the news) and central defender Gernot Trauner were also traded as options for TSG defense, which is the four-weakest in the league with 37 goals in 19. At Thomas, Leicester City has reportedly blocked all the TSG offers and Feyenoord Rotterdams Trauner recently had the chances of the Sinsheimers on a transfer.
