The prospects for a contract extension from Leroy Sané at Bayern have continued to increase. As the “Bild” reports, a signature of the offensive player, which is currently free of charge in the summer, could take place. A new three -year contract is in conversation, but the Sané would bring in significantly less salary than before.
The 29-year-old, reportedly, earns around 20 million euros a year. The approval of the Supervisory Board around President Herbert Hainer and the club icons Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeneß, sports director Max Eberl apparently would not have to get to expand the cooperation with Sané. So far, this has always been the case with a financial package of over EUR 25 million – but this limit had been raised to EUR 50 million.
At FC Bayern, not all those responsible should be convinced internally without restriction from Sané because the international would show too little Constance. Sports boss Eberl is impressed by the qualities of the former Schalke. “Leroy does not need to show us in individual games how valuable he is. I think I always said that. The fact that Leroy is in shape is so special and is extremely happy,” said the 51-year-old after the 3-1-auvae victory in Augsburg, according to the “Bild”.
Less and less expiring contracts at FC Bayern
If Sané received a new working paper, only central defenders Eric dier (31) and replacement goalkeeper Sven Ulreich (36) would be without a contract for the coming season. On Saturday it became officially known that the Munich and Thomas Müller (35) go separate paths in summer-after the club World Cup has expired.
Sané has had 212 missions, 59 goals and 52 templates for FC Bayern since his 49 million transfer from Manchester City in July 2020. In the Bundesliga market value update, he had to accept the third minus in a row and is currently EUR 38 million. The highest taxation of his career – 100 million euros – was for the native of Essen at the end of 2018.
