The list of possible interested parties for Jonathan Burkardt is long. From Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen to FC Bayern to Liverpool FC, many well-known clubs are associated with the top striker of the 1st FSV Mainz 05. Despite the contract until 2027, the 24-year-old could leave the Rheinhessen in summer, there is talk of an exit clause of around 20 million euros. According to the “picture”, however, the zero five hope for a higher transfer – due to a consultation with the attacker.
According to this, a special bonus model is anchored in Burkardt’s working paper, which says that in the event of a sale for a sum above the above-mentioned exit option, the surplus between the club and the player side is divided fairly. The market value of Burkardts increased by 10 million euros in the latest Bundesliga update. Mainz’s record sale is Brajan Gruda with 31.5 million euros.
Interested clubs know from this agreement, it continues, and must decide for themselves whether they are involved in renegotiations with Mainz or insist on the contractually defined exit clause if they want to hire Burkardt. The newspaper classifies the fact that the striker would burst a transfer if an association did not pay more than 20 million euros.
Burkardt currently contests the best season of his career with 16 goals and three templates in cross -competition. He has been active for Mainz since 2014 and worked his way up to the youngsters to the professionals, for which he has previously completed 139 missions (42 goals, 14 assists). With his achievements, he also recommended himself for the national team, for which he had previously been three times.
