Ez Abde has entered the list of 22 Moroccan footballers for the Paris Olympic Games announced on Thursday, although the coach, Tarik Sektioui, will have to make four discards, since there are 18 who can be part of each team.
At this summer’s Paris Olympics, Morocco has been drawn into Group B alongside Argentina, Iraq and Ukraine. Morocco will play its first match on 25 July and will play the final on 9 August if it reaches this round. Real Betis plays its first league match on 15 August against Girona.

The Real Betis first team players will undergo medical examinations prior to the start of pre-season on Tuesday 9th and during the morning of Wednesday 10th, when at midday they will leave for Austrian lands to carry out the first stage of pre-season, which Abde will probably not be present, as well as other internationals who have or have had commitments with their national teams, such as Pezzella, Johnny Cardoso or Assane Diao and Jesús Rodríguez. Who will be in this first stage is the centre-back Ismael Sierra, who last season played on loan at Teruel, in Primera RFEF, as well as a good number of youth players.
