Borussia Dortmund presented a potential successor to Gregor Kobel (27) with Diant Ramaj. According to “Sky”, BVB transfers a transfer of 5 million euros to Ajax Amsterdam for the 23 -year -old goalkeeper. The former Frankfurter will be loaned to FC Copenhagen until the end of the season, where he is supposed to collect playing time.
BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl says: “Diant is a young German goalkeeper who still has a lot of development potential. Game practice is currently the most important thing for him – and he will now get it in Copenhagen. We wish him maximum success for the second half of the season in Denmark and Conference League. ”
In the summer of 2023, Ajax paid 5 million euros for Ramaj’s services to Eintracht Frankfurt. After a short familiarization period, he became a regular goalkeeper last season and was able to increase its market value to 18 million euros. In the current season, he had to hand in his regular place to 41-year-old Remko Pasveer and only played a game for the Ajax professionals. After two devaluations, its market value is 7 million euros – according to Freiburg Noah Atubolu (22) the most valuable German keeper up to 23 years.
BVB access Ramaj more expensive than once Lehmann and Bürki
The BVB is thus responding to a possible exit from Kobel, which is one of the most valuable goalkeepers worldwide with a market value of 40 million euros. If the Bundesliga table is missed by the Champions League or even international business, the Swiss, for whom Dortmund 2021, transferred 15 million euros to VfB, could leave the club. With a transfer fee of 5 million euros, Ramaj is the second most eightest goalkeeper in BVB history and overtakes Jens Lehmann (55) and Roman Bürki (34)-the other two final men, for whom Borussia broke the million mark.
Ramaj would collect play practice in Copenhagen, because the Danish club has not yet succeeded in replacing Kamil Grabara (26) from VfL Wolfsburg in summer. Finally, Werder’s number two Mio Backhaus (20) was also traded.
