Surreal history in football Croatiahe NK Jadran-Galeb of the Croatian third division has a shield practically the same as the Brightonin which only the letters of the team name change.
The Croatian team was founded in 2001 and had taken the ‘Magpies’ logo without permission. The surprise was huge in the English club when a member of the Jadran-Galeb visited the facilities of Brightontold them about the similarity between both clubs and asked them as a joke “to give them uniforms as a donation.”

The joke did not go entirely well, since ‘the seagulls’ have sent a legal warning requesting the immediate change of shield and have threatened legal action. What’s more, the English team’s demand has already had its first consequences and has caused the immediate removal of the shield from the club’s website. Croatian Football Federationl.
