The Premier League has announced an additional transfer window in summer due to the FIFA Club World Cup. At a meeting on Thursday in the center of Londons, the clubs voted for an extra mini change period, which starts on June 1st and closed again on June 10, as was announced. This means that FC Chelsea and Manchester City, who is the only English clubs to take part in the newly designed competition in the United States in summer, can hire new players before the tournament.
But other Premier League clubs can also sign and sell professionals during this registration period. After the closure on June 10, the window will open again on June 16 for the regular transfer phase until September 1, as was confirmed.
In October, the World Football Association FIFA had already unanimously accepted a proposal, which gives the national associations the opportunity to set up another registration window from 1 to June 10th. This closes four days before the start of the club World Cup on June 14, when MLS-Club Inter Miami meets the Egyptian Association Al Aly.
