FC Bayern Munich is letting go of two more players from its youth team – one permanently, one on loan. According to consistent media reports, Yusuf Kabadayi is moving to FC Augsburg, where the 20-year-old offensive player is to receive a contract until 2028. Only the medical check is still pending. A transfer fee of around 900,000 euros is being discussed initially, with up to 1.1 million euros possible depending on success.
U20 international Kabadayi played on loan for FC Schalke 04 in the second division last season, scoring four goals in 24 matches for the Royal Blues. Schalke had a purchase option for the Munich native worth around one million euros, but reportedly wanted to invest the money in another new signing for the offensive wing position.
Market value winner Zvonarek before loan transfer from FC Bayern to Sturm Graz
According to Bild, attacking midfielder Lovro Zvonarek is moving to Austrian champions Sturm Graz on loan for a year. There, the 19-year-old Croatian, who previously played for Bayern II in the Regionalliga Bayern (12 goals and 7 assists in 39 matches), can even gain match practice in the Champions League. Bayern have turned down Sturm’s request for a purchase option.
Zvonarek signed his first professional contract with the record champions in May, which is valid until 2027. Under Thomas Tuchel, the Croatian U21 international, who moved from Slaven Belupo to Munich in 2022 for 1.8 million euros, also made his Bundesliga debut in January. In the market value update of Bayern’s 4th division, Zvonarek’s value increased from 1.5 million to 3 million euros.
