Al-Nassr Buys Seleção Keeper Bento: Ospina Replacement As Expensive As Brozovic

Al-Nassr FC has made the most expensive new signing in the Saudi Pro League this summer. Cristiano Ronaldo’s (39) club has signed goalkeeper Bento from Athletico Paranaense in Brazil and is paying around 18 million euros for the 25-year-old, who has a contract until 2027.

Bento, who has only played in his home country so far and has become a national player there – he was not in the squad at the Copa América – is to replace David Ospina (35) at Al-Nassr, who is returning to Colombia to join Atlético Nacional after two years at the club. The transfer fee of 18 million euros is the fifth highest in Al-Nassr’s history, on a par with Marcelo Brozovic (31), who came from Inter Milan last summer.
