The Al-Ahli SFC breaks its previous transfer record on Deadline Day in Saudi Arabia for Brazilian offensive player Galeno. The 27-year-old comes for 50 million euros confirmed by FC Porto and, reportedly, receives a contract until 2028. The Portuguese only collected a higher sum in their history twice. According to the Belgian defender Matteo Dams (20) from PSV Eindhoven, Galeno is the second winter shopping at the Saudi club.
Al-Nahli had only taken 42 million euros in the summer for Brentford’s center forwarder Ivan Toney (28). Official man Galeno made his debut for Seleção in March 2024, and another commitment has not been made for the national team of Brazil. The right foot brought FC Porto to 45 hits and 24 templates in 153 encounters.
