Gerard Piqué closed the year in ‘The Revolt’ with an interview that left no one indifferent. The former soccer player returned to David Broncano’s program after several years and, true to his style of ‘getting wet’ with everything, spoke without filters about his career, his personal life and his current success as a businessman.
One of the highlights was his Kings League, a project that began as a casual idea and now has a surprising structure. “It started as a joke and, two years later, we have almost 200 people working on it“explained Piqué, visibly proud.

Regarding his time as a player, he left a confession that attracted a lot of attention: “I’ve never seen a game I’ve played.” He even referred to the historic 2010 World Cup final. “I have never seen the final in South Africa. I have never seen the match. What you have experienced, you have experienced. I have seen the famous last play, but the match I have never seen it“he noted.
He was also asked about current football and how he would fit into the team that made history in 2010. Piqué highlighted Lamine Yamal, one of FC Barcelona’s biggest promises: “This year I would put in our team Lamine Yamal. He is gifted. I trained with him my senior year. Barcelona was very needy, we didn’t have much money and the young people came out to play. We are going to turn this around.”

True to the tone of the program, there was no shortage of more personal questions. Piqué assured that he has improved both in his relationships and in his economic situation: “I’m doing very well in both. You always have to grow. We are getting better with the years“, a confession that could be directed at Shakira. In addition, he did not shy away from talking about his intimate life and stated, with humor: “I go out for one sexual relationship a day. I would say 30 points.”.
