‘The Williams’ was one of the films screened today, Thursday, on the fourth day of the ‘Thinking Football Film Festival’ organized by Athletic. Before the screening of the film that tells the life of the two red-and-white forwards and their parents after arriving in Bilbao from Ghana, Iñaki spoke about the derby to be played next Sunday in San Mamés.
“I have seven goals against Real and it is a game that motivates me, I have always said that. “I really want to and I hope I can continue vaccinating them,” he indicated.
Iñaki Williams, in any case, prioritizes Athletic’s victory in the derby over his authorship of the goals: “Anything that means winning will be welcome, whether with a goal from me or a goal from Agirrezabala, our goalkeeper. It doesn’t matter who scores them because the important thing is to get the three points and continue fighting to be in Europe.”
The eldest Williams is clear that in a derby there are no favorites: “Either of the two teams can win because we both arrived at a good moment. There is a lot of talk about Real not going through their best moment, but if they beat us they overtake us in the table”.
