{"id":9254,"date":"2025-04-14T18:14:24","date_gmt":"2025-04-14T18:14:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/betwealthsuretips.com\/blog\/chelsea-premier-league-side-spent-60m-on-agents-during-2024-25\/"},"modified":"2025-04-14T18:14:25","modified_gmt":"2025-04-14T18:14:25","slug":"chelsea-premier-league-side-spent-60m-on-agents-during-2024-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/betwealthsuretips.com\/blog\/chelsea-premier-league-side-spent-60m-on-agents-during-2024-25\/","title":{"rendered":"Chelsea: Premier League Side Spent \u00a360m On Agents During 2024-25"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-component=\"text-block\">\n<p><b>Chelsea have spent the most on agents fees of all Premier League clubs for the second successive year.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Football Assocation <a rel=\"nofollow\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.thefa.com\/news\/2025\/apr\/14\/payments-and-transactions-140425\">has released<span>, external<\/span><\/a> the net total paid to football agents by every club in the top five divisions of English men&#8217;s football, and the top two tiers of the women&#8217;s game.<\/p>\n<p>The figures, which cover the period between 2 February 2024 and 3 February 2025, show Chelsea spent a little over \u00a360m for agents to help facilitate transfers for the men&#8217;s team.<\/p>\n<p>This is the most of any Premier League side, although the figure is down on their 2023-24 outlay of \u00a375.1m.<\/p>\n<p>The 20 Premier League teams spent a combined \u00a3409.1m on fees, down from \u00a3409.5m in the previous period.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-component=\"text-block\">\n<p>Manchester City again spent the second most on agents &#8211; a little over \u00a352m &#8211; followed by Manchester United with an outlay of \u00a333m.<\/p>\n<p>Aston Villa (\u00a325m) and Newcastle (\u00a324.3m) complete the top five biggest spenders, with the current Premier League top two of Arsenal (\u00a322.8m) and Liverpool (\u00a320.8m) following behind.<\/p>\n<p>West Ham (\u00a319m), Tottenham (\u00a318.4m) and Brighton (\u00a316.5m) are in the top 10 for outlay.<\/p>\n<p>The lowest spenders were Ipswich Town, who paid out just \u00a36.2m across a period in which they were promoted to the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>In the Championship, Leeds United far outspent the rest of the division in their attempt to get promoted back to the top flight.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Farke&#8217;s side spent \u00a318.8m on agent fees, with the 24-club league paying out a combined \u00a363.2m.<\/p>\n<p>The second biggest spenders in the Championship were Burnley, who paid a comparatively small \u00a35.3m to agents in this period.<\/p>\n<p>In the Women&#8217;s Super League, Chelsea were also the highest spenders on agents, with the champions paying \u00a3622,604 to intermediaries.<\/p>\n<p>This is nearly triple the amount of the second-highest spenders, Manchester City &#8211; \u00a3288,628 &#8211; with the 12 WSL clubs paying a combined \u00a32.1m to agents.<\/p>\n<p>This means Sonia Bompastor&#8217;s Chelsea were responsible for 28.6% of the division&#8217;s spending.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chelsea have spent the most on agents fees of all Premier League clubs for&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":9255,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[28],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-9254","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-epl-transfer-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.3.1 -
