Yeremay Hernandez had been linked with clubs including Napoli, Como, Chelsea and RC Strasbourg, but Deportivo La Coruna announced he is staying.<\/p>\n

The tricky winger can play on the left or right wing and was seen as one of the potential heirs to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.<\/p>\n

On top of that option, Como were also interested in letting him flourish in Serie A, while Chelsea had reportedly offered \u20ac13m.<\/p>\n

However, in a rare show of strength on the transfer market, Deportivo La Coruna released a formal statement on their official website confirming that Yeremay Hernandez will not be sold in the January window.<\/p>\n

He has a contract to June 2030 and the statement confirmed Deportivo La Coruna received \u201cnumerous proposals,\u201d but that they had agreed to continue working together.<\/p>\n

He contributed eight goals and three assists in 19 games this season.<\/p>\n

There is believed to be a \u20ac20m release clause in his contract.<\/p>\n
