Roma have officially sent Enzo Le F\u00e9e to Sunderland on loan with an option to buy that can become an obligation for \u20ac23m.<\/p>\n

The midfielder had only been signed over the summer from Stade Rennais for \u20ac23m, but made precious little impact at the Stadio Olimpico.<\/p>\n

He was not helped by the fact they have been through three coaches already this season, but still amassed only 10 appearances between Serie A, the Coppa Italia and Europa League.<\/p>\n

Le F\u00e9e wanted more regular playing time and this evening completed the transfer to Sunderland on loan until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

The official Roma statement confirms this is a loan with obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.<\/p>\n

According to transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano, the option to buy is worth \u20ac23m and becomes an obligation if Sunderland are promoted to the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The player is keeping the Number 28 jersey that he already wore at Rennes and Roma.<\/p>\n

He turns 25 next month.<\/p>\n
