There is consensus about the fact that Inter are among the Serie A sides with the deepest squad, with summer additions Piotr Zielinski and Mehdi Taremi having further strengthened the team, notably by providing more offensive solutions.<\/p>\n

Acerbi\u2019s repeated physical troubles are making the Dutch defender\u2019s presence absolutely crucial for Inzaghi, but the Biscione should not presume things will necessarily stay like that until the end of the season, which is why they should consider signing another reliable centre-back, with Udinese\u2019s Jaka Bijol reportedly on top of their list.<\/p>\n

Inter need more goals from their attackers<\/h2>\n

Compared to the past season, the Nerazzurri have decided to bring in Mehdi Taremi from Porto to replace Alexis Sanchez, with Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa, who returned from a loan at Marseille, completing the attacking department.<\/p>\n

A striker with significant experience, the Iran international has started all of the Nerazzurri\u2019s Champions League games so far but has not provided the scoring contribution everyone at the San Siro was hoping for, his only net coming from the penalty spot against Red Star.<\/p>\n

Therefore, Inter\u2019s firepower has once again been strictly connected to the form of Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez, with the latter netting 12 of the 21 goals scored by Inzaghi\u2019s strikers across all competitions.<\/p>\n

Ideally, the Biscione should also make a reliable and prolific player up front a priority for their winter transfer window, but chances are this could only happen if they manage to offload Arnautovic.<\/p>\n
