Edoardo Bove is in hospital and has regained consciousness after a medical emergency, as the match between Fiorentina and Inter has been called off.<\/p>\n

The game was suspended at the 17th<\/sup> minute when the midfielder collapsed, prompting medical staff to take him to the waiting ambulance.<\/p>\n

According to Sky Sport Italia, he was breathing autonomously when taken to the ambulance, then regained consciousness at the Careggi Hospital, which is very close to the Stadio Artemio Franchi.<\/p>\n

The Lega Serie A announced that the Week 14 match has been abandoned and will not be resumed today.<\/p>\n

When it does resume at a later date, as per protocol, it will resume from the 17th minute where it was suspended.<\/p>\n

Understandably, his teammates and the Inter players were distraught and many in tears at the unfolding situation.<\/p>\n

We are all waiting for news on his condition and hoping for a speedy recovery for the 22-year-old.<\/p>\n

Bove is a product of the Roma youth academy who joined Fiorentina on loan for \u20ac1.5m with the option to make it permanent for a further \u20ac10.5m.<\/p>\n
