Pierre Kalulu\u2019s return to the Stadio San Siro in a Juventus shirt will be a chance for him to prove his former club were \u2018wrong\u2019 to sell him on loan to their Scudetto rivals last summer, a decision that left him \u2018disappointed\u2019.<\/p>\n

Kalulu joined the Rossoneri from Lyon in the summer of 2020 and established himself as one of the revelations of Stefano Pioli\u2019s title-winning side in 2022, but injuries and decreasing trust in him affected his status last season, leading the club to set up a move that he was initially reluctant to accept.<\/p>\n

However, the defender\u2019s brother Aldo Kalulu, also a footballer for Partizan Belgrade, explained that the 24-year-old won\u2019t seek \u2018revenge\u2019 when he takes on his former side on Saturday, although his story with Milan is \u2018finished\u2019 despite only signing for Juventus on a temporary deal.<\/p>\n

Kalulu \u2018disappointed\u2019 by Milan\u2019s behaviour, call with Thiago Motta \u2018made the difference\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cAt first, he was sad because he didn\u2019t want to leave Milan, and he was also sad because he understood that the club no longer wanted him,\u201d Aldo Kalulu told La Gazzetta dello Sport in an interview, detailing how his brother matured the decision to leave the Rossoneri last summer after feeling \u2018disappointed\u2019 by how they behaved.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome directors changed there, but he spoke with Zlatan [Ibrahimovic], with whom he also played, and he was upset when they talked on the phone.<\/p>\n

Once he was faced with his club\u2019s decision, Kalulu had his first call with Juventus: \u201cOn the other side of the phone was Thiago Motta,\u201d the defender\u2019s brother revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that call made the difference. When the coach calls you and says nice things, it\u2019s the best thing that can happen. He told him they needed him, that he was a very strong player, that even though he\u2019d had injuries, he wanted him there.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was the perfect start to this story. And anyway, to a club like Juventus, you can\u2019t say no. Pierre did well in Milan, he liked the team, the city, but when they tell you they no longer want you, you have to leave.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s clarify that he is on loan, but it\u2019s hard to imagine a future together again. He doesn\u2019t expect anything from Milan, and Milan shouldn\u2019t expect anything from him. It\u2019s a finished story.\u201d<\/p>\n

But while Kalulu is willing to show his worth to the team that let him go, his main focus is on helping Juventus to win an important game as his brother clarified he won\u2019t seek revenge: \u201cNo, absolutely not. He\u2019s too mature for that,\u201d Aldo Kalulu added.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd what happened is part of life; if you don\u2019t think like that, you\u2019re being childish, and that\u2019s not the case with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe just wants to play his game. Of course, he wants to win and do his best. He\u2019s eager to score and make assists, but the most important thing for him is the victory.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s doing well there, he likes the club, the way they work, and he knows he\u2019s improving every day. He sees many differences between this season and the last. He\u2019s growing physically, mentally, in terms of intensity on the field, and technically. He\u2019s very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n
