The collaboration with the 57-year-old now extends beyond the end of the season; according to the club, the new working paper is valid until 2027. This decision was made unanimously by the supervisory board of FC Bayern M\u00fcnchen AG on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<div>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tmssl.akamaized.net\/\/images\/foto\/newsansicht\/fc-bayern-forum-innews-banner-community-1717489823-138379.jpg?lm=1717489837\" alt=\"\u00a9 tm\/imago - Join the discussion about FC Bayern here (link to the forum)\" width=\"503\" height=\"148\"><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>    <\/p>\n<p>\u201cJan-Christian Dreesen took over as CEO in a difficult phase and quickly led FC Bayern M\u00fcnchen AG back into calmer waters,\u201d said Supervisory Board Chairman Herbert Hainer. \u201cWe want to continue on this path together. We are sure that he is the right person to tackle the upcoming challenges together with his board colleagues Michael Diederich and Max Eberl and achieve FC Bayern\u2019s ambitious goals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In October there was speculation that Dreesen would leave the club early if he did not voluntarily give up a new contract with the Munich team. \u201cManager Magazin\u201d reported accordingly. Club president Herbert Hainer, who also heads the supervisory board, then said: \u201cIn general, we are absolutely satisfied with our board around chairman Jan-Christian Dreesen: We are successful in sport and will once again present excellent economic figures at the upcoming annual general meeting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>    <\/p>\n<p>After the long-term solution with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and the unsuccessful successor variant with Oliver Kahn, Dreesen has been CEO since May 2023. Dreesen has been a member of the FC Bayern board since February 2013, and from February 2014 the business graduate served as deputy chairman of the board. After his extension, Dreesen emphasized: \u201cFC Bayern has always been a matter close to my heart.
