Mario Balotelli made his first Serie A appearance in over four years and said it was \u2018all he asked for.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Italy international joined Genoa on a free transfer last week.<\/p>\n

A former Inter, Milan, Liverpool and Manchester City striker, Balotelli was introduced as a substitute for the Grifone in a Serie A game against Parma on Monday.<\/p>\n

He was booked after just five minutes, but his Serie A return, combined with Genoa\u2019s second victory this season, excited the 34-year-old striker.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll I asked for in a picture,\u201d Balotelli wrote in an Instagram story, alongside a photo of his first appearance with Genoa.<\/p>\n

He concluded with a few emojis and a message for his followers and haters: \u201cFinally, and now\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Balotelli had made his latest Serie A appearance for Brescia, in a 3-0 loss against Sassuolo in March 2020.<\/p>\n<\/picture>\n
