Roma coach Ivan Juric is on the brink after a 3-2 loss against Hellas Verona on Sunday, and reports in Italy suggest Frank Lampard, Massimiliano Allegri, and Paulo Sousa are among the candidates to replace the Croatian tactician.<\/p>\n

Roma\u2019s away 3-2 defeat at Hellas Verona on Sunday pushed the Giallorossi nine points below a Champions League placement and just five points above the drop zone, again putting Juric\u2019s future in doubt.<\/p>\n

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Dan and Ryan Friedkin were in Paris and London in the last few days for business meetings, and their return to the capital in the coming hours cannot be ruled out.<\/p>\n

The pink paper claims that ex-Fiorentina and Salernitana coach Sousa is among the primary candidates for the bench. The Portuguese is under contract with Shabab Al-Ahli but has a release clause that Roma could activate.<\/p>\n

Lampard is another option for the Roma job, and according to Gazzetta, the former midfielder has been suggested to the Friedkins by people close to Everton, the Premier League club that Roma owners recently acquired.<\/p>\n

Gazzetta also mentions ex-Chelsea and Brighton coach Graham Potter as a possible Juric successor.<\/p>\n

The Italian candidates are Allegri, Roberto Mancini and Maurizio Sarri. However, according to Tuttosport on page 21, \u2018Mancio\u2019 is a less likely candidate due to his past as a Lazio player and coach.<\/p>\n

The Turin-based paper claims that some players demanded Daniele De Rossi\u2019s return, but according to Gazzetta, the Roma owners are unwilling to bring the former midfielder back after firing him less than two months ago.<\/p>\n
