Former Milan midfielder Massimo Ambrosini admitted \u2018we should prepare\u2019 to see Daniel Maldini take a different path from his father\u2019s, as he could join \u2018even Juventus or Inter\u2019.<\/p>\n

Both the Bianconeri and the Nerazzurri were recently linked with a move for the Monza offensive midfielder, a scenario that would mark the end of a family tradition that saw his grandfather Cesare and father Paolo become Milan club legends.<\/p>\n

Asked to \u2018imagine\u2019 Maldini\u2019s potential move to one of the biggest Rossoneri rivals, Ambrosini conceded that<\/p>\n

Ambrosini believes Maldini could join \u2018Juventus or Inter\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cAs for Daniel, we should prepare for the fact that he could take a different path, even Juventus or Inter\u201d Ambrosini told Radio Serie A.<\/p>\n

The former midfielder added that he still doesn\u2019t know whether Maldini will reach the level required to play in a top club, although he believes his improvements are evident.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the moment, he\u2019s not [at that level],\u201d he claimed.<\/p>\n<\/picture>\n

\u201cBut he made a step forward compared to what he was one year ago, in terms of presence on the pitch and ability.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe kept improving physically, I don\u2019t know where he can get.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he should keep his ambition level high and continue to be present on the pitch.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn terms of physicality, technique and courage, he has everything \u2013 but to make another step, we should see how consistent he can be.\u201d<\/p>\n
