Bologna winger Dan Ndoye admitted he\u2019s working to play in a \u2018world\u2019s top club\u2019 and set himself \u2018no limits\u2019 after recently shining during his side\u2019s Champions League fixture against Liverpool, which ended with a 2-0 defeat.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old was scouted by Bologna\u2019s technical director Giovanni Sartori and joined the Rossoblu from Basel in the summer of 2023.<\/p>\n

Despite only scoring one goal from his 32 Serie A appearances last season, his consistent displays attracted interest from top clubs, as both Manchester United and Liverpool approached Bologna last summer over a potential move, with the latter possibly keen on signing the Switzerland international as Mohamed Salah\u2019s future replacement.<\/p>\n

Bologna\u2019s Ndoye aims to play for world\u2019s top club: \u2018I have the quality to do it\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cI constantly work to play in my position for a world\u2019s top club and I\u2019m aware that I have the quality to do it,\u201d Ndoye told Sky Sport while on international duties with Switzerland, as reported by TMW.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was a kid they told me I couldn\u2019t become a professional, but I never listened to them and now I\u2019m here.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why I set myself no limits. I went through highs and lows during my career and this made me stronger from every point of view.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is no coincidence that today I\u2019m in a club who play the Champions League. The path is right, but there\u2019s still much to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ndoye is a key player to new coach Vincenzo Italiano at Bologna, as he played six Serie A games this season, only missing his side\u2019s match against Empoli due to injury.<\/p>\n

The winger explained how his stint in Italy has changed his game, forcing him to \u2018evolve\u2019: \u201cNo game is easy [in Serie A],\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou often play against teams that sit deep, as they\u2019re used to face top players such as Le\u00e3o and Osimhen.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a constant teaching for me. I had to adapt and evolve, changing my dribbling to impose myself [on Italian football]\u201d.<\/p>\n
