Inter legend Marco Materazzi reveals Pep Guardiola wanted to sign Nicol\u00f2 Barella at Manchester City and insists the Italy international is \u2018on Rodri\u2019s level.\u2019<\/p>\n

Former Inter and Italy defender Materazzi reveals Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wanted to sign Barella from the Nerazzurri.<\/p>\n

Materazzi released an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday, two days before the derby della Madonnina against Milan. The ex-Italy international predicted Inter\u2019s starting midfield in the game against the Rossoneri and revealed the transfer insight.<\/p>\n
