Inter could pick up another free agent this season, as defender Oumar Solet has terminated his contract with RB Salzburg by mutual consent.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old had already been heavily linked with a potential move to the Nerazzurri over the summer, but no deal could be done.<\/p>\n

He was also in talks with Napoli, Roma and Milan.<\/p>\n

With his contract set to expire in June 2025, it was announced today that he has reached an agreement with RB Salzburg to terminate it early by mutual consent.<\/p>\n

As a free agent, Solet is now able to sign for any club past the transfer deadline.<\/p>\n

Solet targeted by Inter<\/h2>\n

Although Inter have already picked up Tomas Palacios for the defence, they could always make room for another promising player.<\/p>\n

The Frenchman is a product of the Stade Lavallois academy, moving to Olympique Lyonnais in January 2018 and sold to RB Salzburg for \u20ac4.5m in 2020.<\/p>\n

Inter have barely spent any transfer fees in recent years, focusing on free agents under first CEO and now President Beppe Marotta.<\/p>\n

This summer alone they snapped up Piotr Zielinski and Mehdi Taremi.<\/p>\n
