Atalanta are expected to shake hands with Juventus on Tuesday for Teun Koopmeiners, so could spend that money asking Bayer Leverkusen for Odilon Kossounou.<\/p>\n

Multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and Fabrizio Romano all believe tomorrow will be the decisive day for the long-running transfer saga.<\/p>\n

Juve\u2019s offer remains the same \u20ac52m plus \u20ac7m in add-ons, but it is close enough to the \u20ac60m asking price to get a deal over the line after today\u2019s meeting.<\/p>\n

They are confident the agreement will be reached on Tuesday, so Atalanta are trying to see how they will spend those extra funds.<\/p>\n

The same sources, in addition to Team Talk, also note that their target in defence is Kossounou.<\/p>\n

There is a \u20ac30m asking price for the 23-year-old centre-back, who is only under contract at Bayer Leverkusen until June 2026.<\/p>\n

He was signed from Club Brugge in 2021 for \u20ac23m and was a key figure in last season\u2019s record-breaking Bundesliga campaign.<\/p>\n

Kossounou also won the Africa Cup of Nations this year with the Ivory Coast and was beaten by Atalanta in the Europa League Final.<\/p>\n

The defender has also been linked with Crystal Palace, Wolves and Leicester City, but La Dea are now the favourites.<\/p>\n
