Marco Brescianini\u2019s proposed transfer to Napoli has collapsed, and Sky Sport Italia reports that Atalanta are now in talks to sign the Italian midfielder from Frosinone.<\/p>\n

Brescianini won\u2019t join Napoli despite undergoing medical tests with the Partenopei this morning.<\/p>\n

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Partenopei tried to change the terms of the agreement today, pushing Frosinone to call off the deal.<\/p>\n

Brescianini, a Milan academy product, was expected to join the Partenopei on a \u20ac1m loan deal plus an obligation to buy for \u20ac11m in 2025.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if Napoli\u2019s request to change the terms of the agreement is tied to Jens Cajuste\u2019s collapsed transfer to Brentford.<\/p>\n

Surely, Napoli director Giovanni Manna is currently in London to meet Brighton for another central midfielder, Billy Gilmour.<\/p>\n

According to Di Marzio, Brescianini could still play in Serie A next season as both Juventus and Atalanta are interested in him.<\/p>\n

However, La Dea are ahead of the Bianconeri in the race for the versatile 24-year-old.<\/p>\n
