Felix Agu has developed into an undisputed regular player at Werder Bremen and could import a rich transfer fee for the green-whites in summer. According to “Sky”, the 25 -year -old full -back, who can be used on both sides, has an exit clause in his contract. Among other things, English clubs could make use of this.
The amount for which AGU is allowed to change this summer is between 8 million and 10 million euros without Werder being able to do anything about it. The North Germans still have planning security during the transfer period, because the clause can only be pulled until May 31. According to the TV station, both West Ham United and FC Fulham are interested, and clubs from Italy, which are also not named.
AGU has been 92 missions for Werder (five goals, nine templates) since its change from VfL Osnabrück in the summer of 2020. Even due to some injury problems, he was never able to establish himself as an undisputed powers – until this season. Despite Derrick Köhn (26 )’s commitments in summer and ISSA Kaboré (23) in winter, AGU has been set for weeks and has a large part in the fact that Werder is the top team in the Bundesliga in the last five games.
For Bremen, an exit agus would tighten the construction site on the left. Since Köhn and Kaboré are only borrowed and will now be back to their regular clubs, only Mitchell Weiser (30) for the positions on the outer lanes remains in addition to the native of Osnabrück. The contract of central defender Anthony Jung (33), who can also play on the left, is not extended. The green-white Aaron tenth (20) from SC Paderborn have potential newcomers on the list.
