Good evening and welcome to the Football Italia Liveblog for coverage of this evening’s Serie A fixture between Udinese and Milan at the Bluenergy stadium.

Kick-off is due at 19.45 BST.

The Rossoneri are looking to claw themselves closer to the European positions in the Serie A table after a 2-2 draw with Fiorentina last time out.

Sergio Conceicao’s side are currently ninth on 48 points, while Udinese sit eight points behind them in the standings in 11th before kick-off.

Milan can’t quite get it right in the final third. A good team move in the midfield ends when Fofana is cut out 25 yards from goal.

Tomori puts the ball into row Z after Kamara broke into the area from the left wing.

Pulisic catches Solet with an arm and has a free-kick given against him, which the American can’t believe.

Pulisic stands up Solet and sends in a cross, which is headed half-clear by Bijol.

Atta battling with Pavlovic and then Theo Hernandez on Udinese’s left wing. The Frenchman wins a slightly debatable goal kick.

Lovric then tries a shot from distance, which flies over. Again looks for a free-kick after some pressure from Leao.

Lovric looking for a free-kick off Leao. The Portugal international tracked back to atone for a loose pass, but nothing given.

Lovric’s corner does not clear the near post, Lucca still gets a touch on it, but Milan have a goal kick.

Udinese win a corner.

Milan’s corner goes short and is eventually crossed in to Pavlovic, who heads over.

Bijol with a very important intervention to put Alex Jimenez’s wicked low cross out for a corner. Jovic, who might have been offside, was waiting to tap that in at the back post.

Jovic looks to bully his way through the middle, but appears to get mixed up with Reijnders, and Milan’s attack comes to an end. Udinese break and are dispossessed.

Pulisic’s corner is caught by Okoye on his goalline.

Theo delivers, Ehizibue nods it out at the back post for a corner.

Reijnders is fouled just outside the right corner of the penalty area and Milan have a free-kick in a good position to deliver.

Almost a Maignan assist!

Milan go route one again. Maignan with a perffect ball over the top for Leao, who brings it down but can’t apply the finishing touches.

Ehizibue looks to cross in from the right, but slips and is dispossessed by Pavlovic.

Kamara looks to break down Udinese’s left wing, but is ushered out by Alex Jimenez. The Udinese man goes down, but no foul.

Big early chance!

An immediate chance for Reijnders, who is denied by Okoye one-on-one from 10 yards out after a long ball over the top.

We have kick-off!

Jovic gets the ball rolling and we are underway!

Here come the teams!

Bijol and Maignan lead them out of the tunnel.

And on a contract renewal for Maignan …

Moncada added: “We’re talking, we communicate, but tonight’s match is more important.”

Moncada on Maignan’s return to Udine

“It was very difficult for him last year. We’ve talked with him a lot during the week, we’ve told him to stay focussed on the game, and I hope that everything will be okay tonight, that there will be no problems because he’s a really great guy.”

Moncada on Milan’s 3-4-3 system

Speaking to Sky before kick-off: “They’ve worked in a three all week, they’ve been working on this system. We usually leave three at the back when we build up to leave a bit more space for Theo Hernandez, so it’s not totally different.”
