Luka Jovic’s father confirms he received offers from Besiktas and Trabzonspor, but while he wants to stay at Milan, there might ‘not be a choice.’
The striker popped up for a decisive equaliser against his former club Fiorentina at the weekend in Serie A, only his second goal in nine appearances this season.
Middling form for Santiago Gimenez and Tammy Abraham mean that Jovic is suddenly back on the radar for the Rossoneri, hoping to make an impact and earn a contract extension.
Jovic future might not be at Milan

His father spoke to Srpski Telegraf via Calciomercato.com about his future, confirming there were offers from Besiktas and Trabzonspor in January, as well as Monza in Serie A.
“It’s all true,” was the response.
“He ought to stay at Milan, but if many things change within the club, then there might not be a choice in the matter.”
Jovic’s career trajectory has been extremely odd, as Real Madrid paid €63m to sign him from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019, but by 2022 he was handed over to Fiorentina for free in exchange for a 50 per cent cut of the future transfer fee.
A similar deal was struck with Milan in 2023 with a short-term contract that expires on June 30.
