The Superliga market value update has led to revaluation in the top group of the most valuable players in the league. Darius Olaru from Steaua Bucharest can confirm its market value (7.5 million euros) and keeps the space in the sun in the league ranking. In second place, teammate ștefan Târnovanu, who is now concerned with a plus from 1 million to 4.5 million euros and passes Alexandru Mitriță (4 million euros) from CS U Craiova. After an upgrading around 200,000 euros, Daniel Bîrligea from FCSB also has the same market value.
The biggest plus of the update does not go to a FCSB professional who places seven players in the top 10 of the market value ranking, but to Louis Munteanu from the CFR Cluj. The 22-year-old center forward receives an upgrading by 1.3 million to EUR 3.5 million after he became top scorer in the regular season with 19 goals. Munteanu switched to AC Florence at the age of 18 for 1.7 million euros, but remained without use for the first team. With the change in the summer of 2024 to Cluj, the U21 international Romania now made his final breakthrough.
The market value of David Ankeye from Rapid 1923 develops in the opposite direction. The 22-year-old Nigerian is devalued by 500,000 to EUR 1.3 million and is therefore the biggest loser in the update. The attacker came from CFC Genoa from Series A in winter and has since received five short missions in which he did not achieve a goal participation. The market value for two German legionaries in the Superliga also goes down: Christopher Braun loses 100,000 euros and is now rated 450,000 euros and the former Schalke Kilian Ludewig falls by 50,000 to 200,000 euros. For the 25-year-old, who reached his career high value at EUR 2.5 million in 2020, it is already the eleventh devaluation in a row.
