Newcastle have reportedly made a concrete approach for Fiorentina and Italy star Moise Kean, opening talks with his agent to lay the groundwork for a potential move next summer.
The 25-year-old has inevitably attracted interest from several clubs across Europe after an impressive campaign in which he scored 15 goals in 26 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina, as well as netting a brace in Italy’s recent Nations League match away to Germany.

With Alexander Isak likely to spark a bidding war among Premier League giants in the upcoming transfer window, the Magpies are keen to stay ahead of the curve and are already exploring alternatives.
Kean attracts Newcastle’s attention as Magpies open discussions with agent
According to Calciomercato.com, Newcastle have initiated discussions with Kean’s agent in what could be a preparatory step toward a formal offer this summer.
The striker’s contract includes a €52m release clause, which can only be activated between July 1 and 15. This clause could simplify negotiations, leaving the Premier League outfit to focus solely on securing Kean’s approval for the move.

The deal could prove especially advantageous for Newcastle if they manage to sell Isak for a figure close to their asking price, which is believed to exceed €100m.
