National League quarter-finals

Denmark has announced the squad for the quarter -finals in the Nations League against Portugal. The list of newcomers is led by Mika Biereth. The striker had previously drawn attention to AS Monaco with ten goals in eleven games since his winter change. Due to its roots, Biereth could also have played for England, Germany or Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Another prominent newcomer is goalkeeper Filip Jørgensen from FC Chelsea, who moves into the squad for Union of Berlin’s Frederik Rönnow. In addition, the three Youngster Victor Froholdt von Copenhagen, Sportings Conrad Harder and Nordsjaellands Lucas Høgsberg are new. The two full -back Mads Roerslev and Joakim Maehle from VfL Wolfsburg return to the team. The same applies to ex-Frankfurt Jesper Lindstrøm, who recently won a regular place at Everton. In return, coach Brian Riemer struck a number of Bundesliga representatives-including Leipzig’s Yussuf Poulsen and Bremen’s Jens Stage.
On March 20 (8:45 p.m.), the 1992 European champion welcomes the Portuguese in Copenhagen for the first leg, three days later the second leg takes place in Lisbon.
