Zanetti watching Inter target Nico Paz in Como-Venezia

Nico Paz is understood to be a firm favourite in San Siro, and a player the Nerazzurri are expected to target in the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old joined Como from Real Madrid in the summer of 2024, signing for a fee of around €6m. Los Blancos, however, retain a 50% sell-on fee and a series of buy-back clauses valid over the next few summers.
Madrid have an opportunity to buy Paz back for a fee of €8m in the upcoming summer transfer window, €9m in the summer of 2026 and €10m in the summer of 2027.
After an impressive breakthrough year in Serie A, Como are keen to keep hold of Paz for as long as possible, which means that they will have to renegotiate terms with Madrid, who effectively still have the final say in Paz’s next move.
Inter, meanwhile, are understood to be interested in negotiating with Madrid instead of Como for Paz, as they fear that Como will request a higher transfer fee compared to Madrid given that they are competing in the same league as Inter.
