Dortmund is in eleventh place in the list of expenditure, FC Bayern is sixth with EUR 430 million (+3 %) and RB Leipzig landed 17th with EUR 202 million (+5 %).

With three teams, the Bundesliga has as many representatives in the top 20 as the Spanish Laliga. Real Madrid overtook FC Barcelona with an increase of twelve percent to EUR 505 million, which according to the strict requirements of the Spanish Association made salary cuts by a good quarter (€ 476 million). From Italy there are four clubs in the top 20 ranking, from the Premier League it is nine.
