From Rossi Buys The Club Where He Grew Up

The Italian Daniele De Rossilegend and former coach of Roma, is the new owner of Ostia Mare Lido Calcio, a club where he grew up and which now plays in Serie D (4th category), a project in which, he assured this Saturday, he intends to being “30 years” in charge.

“You’re crazy,” his father told him.

“In the Lazio region there are very good young people. My love for Roma will never end, but we will not make Ostia Mare the place for old glories or a branch. I don’t want to be tied forever with the umbilical cord to Roma,” he explained De Rossi.

And he showed ambition to climb towards the elite of Italian football. “The ambition is there. I don’t think it’s impossible to do something big. I would like to win some championships, imagine a game at 2:30 p.m. with 300 people following us, even away from home.
