Milan Skriniar is about to say goodbye to Paris Saint-Germain and is heading to Turkey. As Fenerbahce announced via its club channels, including a photo, the central defender is coming to Istanbul for further negotiations. According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal is a permanent transfer and not a loan that other clubs had previously requested.
In addition to Fener, Galatasaray, SSC Napoli and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly also recently inquired about the 29-year-old. Borussia Dortmund was also considered interested in the TM rumor mill.
With a market value of 50 million euros in 2023, Skriniar became one of the most valuable footballers in history when he moved from Inter to France. His decline in sports had already begun at this point due to injury, but it has accelerated rapidly since then. Skriniar is now valued at 15 million euros and hardly played a role at PSG this season. He only played five games. There are 37 in total. The Slovakian would then leave PSG three and a half years before his contract actually ends.
