Bundesliga market value winner

From RB Leipzig to FC Barcelona to Bayern Munich: Hardly any Bundesliga professional is currently linked to as many well-known teams in the TM rumor mill as Tom Bischof. The biggest market value winner, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, is currently free of charge at the end of the season and can officially negotiate with interested parties from January 1st. The Kraichgauers haven’t given up on the 19-year-old midfield talent yet.
“He will talk about the topic again with the family on vacation,” TSG sports director Andreas Schicker was quoted as saying by “Kicker”. Bischof, who has been training in Hoffenheim since 2015, “knows very well what he has at TSG. We tried to make this palatable to him with all our conviction in the discussions.”
In what has been a difficult season for the club so far, Bischof is making progress and has already impressed both in midfield and on the wing. BVB, Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart also want the winner of the Fritz Walter Gold Medal for the Alster class U19, who recently increased his market value from 3.5 million to 12 million euros due to the lively interest. Only seven Bundesliga professionals recorded a larger jump in market value in the December update.
In the race for Bischof’s signature, Schicker hopes that TSG can score points by the fact that younger players sometimes have “a difficult phase” and that the club “as a familiar environment can absorb that better than others.” In the Bundesliga comparison, only four currently have Professionals with a contract ending in 2025 have a higher market value than Bishop.
